Biology and Physical Science
Part-time
**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: **
- Lecturing and 1-on-1 student support of various Science and Biology AS subjects across the Pearson Institute for Higher Education programmes run at campus.
- Marking of assessments
- Preparation of notes and additional study materials
- To assist in the administration of Campus affairs and activities as required by the Academic Manager
- To work with Group Head Office staff on developing new course materials and assessments
- Assistance with the preparation, co-ordination and attendance at functions, events and activities (open/career days).
**Qualifications**
**Minimum qualification**
- A Degree with Biology and Physical Science as a major.
- Post Graduate Certificate in Education will be an advantage.
- Relevant lecturing, teaching or tutoring experience
- Experience in a higher education environment will be beneficial.
- Necessary knowledge of higher education practices and processes
- Relevant mathematics experience experience.

- Excellent communication skills- assertive and approachable to students
- Professional knowledge in their area of expertise
- Quality Orientation including attention to detail and deadline-awareness
