Job Description
Title: Biology and Physical Science (Chemistry and Physics) Teacher
Job Purpose
To ensure that students achieve the highest credits in LGCSE and other internal examinations in the relevant subjects.
Key Duties
- Prepare lesson plans
- Prepare schemes of work and implement them
- Attend classes and teach/tutor students
- Assess students and support them to achieve good results
- Provide academic support to individual students based on their needs
- Perform any other duties as required by the employment contract

Specific Job Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong understanding of teaching principles and knowledge transfer

Computer Skills
- Proficient in MS Office (2013 or later), especially Excel and Word
- Knowledge of Access or similar database tools is an added advantage
- Internet and email proficiency
Management Ability
- Basic people-management and classroom management skills
- Natural leadership ability
Qualifications
- BSc Education, BSc Biochemistry, Diploma in Education (Science), or equivalent
- Proven experience in the relevant field
- Being a born-again Christian is an added advantage
- Preference for candidates living in or around Roma
