Position: Billing Specialist
Department: Technical
Reports To: Billing Manager
Main Purpose:
To ensure complete and accurate Billing of services on CVBS and Settlement in line with business requirements.
Major Tasks:
- Configures Products and Services in the system in line with approved Commercial requests;
- Performs routine Billing System checks and submits performance reports to Billing Manager daily;
- Configures approved tariffs in the Billing System. Configures billing processing rules for new services streams;
- Conducts training on billing applications;
- Monitors and prepares daily revenue trends report and submits to Billing Manager;
- Conducts Monthly Bill run under supervision by Billing Manager in line with the Bill run Process;
- Monitors the Mediation to ensure proper function of collection/delivery of upstream/downstream files;
- Troubleshoots Billing rating and processing malfunctions submits report to Billing Manager for review;
- Monitors Settlement System to ensure proper and timely generation and processing of TAP files and Interconnect CDRs;
- Configures Roaming and Interconnect Partners as well as associated tariffs and destinations in the Settlement System;
- Ensures availability of Web-services through daily monitoring of resources.
Educational Qualifications and Related Experience:
· Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent
· Oracle SQL certification is desirable
· 2 to 4 years’ experience in Billing Systems or Similar environment
