Main Purpose of the job
To manage and support all billing applications, processes and operations, ensure timely and accurate charging billing of products and services.
Major Tasks
- Researches and analyses Innovation, technologies, and trends in the billing environment
- Plans Annual operational billing activities, procedure and schedules for implementation by the billing
- Plans on major system upgrades schedules in co-ordination with vendors and relevant departments
- Produces monthly revenue reports such as (Bill-run reports, revenue trends and reconciliations)
- Manages Billing processes and procedures to ensure accurate and timely billing of all network services
- Manages the implementation of tariffs as directed by Head Billing and IS on all billing and related platforms through direct reports and takes corrective actions where necessary
- Manages and co-ordinates configuration and customization of all Billings platform and voucher management system to suit business requirements
- Provide information to internal and external revenue/IT audits and action identified findings in line with approved findings
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Systems or equivalent
- SQL scripting certification
- Oracle Certification
- 2- 4 year’s experience in Telecoms Industry Billing
Competencies
- Knowledge of Billing systems
- Database Management
- Knowledge of SQL
- Understanding of revenue cycle
