BAR‑HAND
Afriski Mountain Resort invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Bar‑hand at its site at Mahlasela Pass.
Job Responsibilities
You will:
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning glassware
• Greet guests warmly and assist them where necessary
• Ensure adherence to all Health and Safety regulations at all times
• Collaborate with team members to maintain high service standards
• Handle guest inquiries and promptly report any issues or complaints
Requirements
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality service
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
