As part of our growth strategy and commitment to customer success, we seek to recruit a dynamic and experienced Bakery Specialist to join our team. This role requires strong technical expertise, high discipline, and a commitment to food safety and operational standards.

Key Performance Areas/Expected Outputs

  • Provide technical support and guidance to bakery customers on the effective use of the company’s flour products.
  • Conduct demonstrations, trials, and training on bread, confectionery, pastry, and other baked products.
  • Assist customers in improving product quality, consistency, productivity, and profitability.
  • Troubleshoot baking and production challenges experienced by customers.
  • Support bakeries in developing new products and improving existing recipes.
  • Maintain and grow sales volumes within the assigned customer portfolio.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Coordinate with production, logistics, and quality assurance teams to ensure excellent customer service.

Qualifications Required

  • Degree in Food Technology, Baking Technology, or a related field.
  • Formal bakery or confectionery training is an added advantage.
  • At least three (3) years’ experience in commercial baking or related fields.
  • Knowledge of bakery production processes, ingredients, and confectionery products.
  • Proven sales and business development experience.
  • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively.

  • Excellent sales, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
  • Good presentation and training skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Sesotho.
  • Problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently.
