The Back-End Web Developer (C#) contributes to the organisational goals by creating and maintaining quality web API’s and integrations using the latest technology
Job Functions Data Analysis,Data Management,Design,Editing,Research and Development Industries Insurance Specification
Create & Optimize communication channels using the latest available technologies.
Monitor & Optimize speed of response.
Create standards and best practices for the API interfaces.
Monitor endpoints.
Ensure adherence to security and regulatory requirements.
To analyse and clarify pre-defined software requirements and/or technical designs to ensure comprehensive understanding of business need.
To provide suitable solutions based on the business need, developed within the architecture framework.

Application of training, initiatives and process changes.

Requirements

Essential:
Grade 12 (Standard 10) with University Entrance (NQF4)

Relevant tertiary qualification.Desirable:

BTech, BEng or BSc in computer Science.

Skills:
C#, SQL, NoSQL and WCF

Experience

Knowledge of:
Azure, Web API, Cosmos DB, JSON, XML, Nuget, Memory & Disctributed Caching and Node.JS

Essential:
At least 3 years of development experience, creating web services / API’s and integrating with 3rd parties.

Desirable:

Experience in the Financial Services Industry.
