RSL is searching for experienced, passionate, energetic, and resilient Lesotho citizens to occupy the positions listed below. These temporary assignments (6 months duration) offer excellent career opportunities for candidates who can make a difference through remarkable leadership and contribution to revenue services in Lesotho.
Auditor (21 Posts)
Purpose:
Conduct risk-based audits (Tax, PCA, and Excise) aimed at improving compliance culture, revenue performance, and reducing cost of collection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Possess basic experience in auditing taxes
- Understand audit requirements for tax refunds
- Review and analyze client background, business, and financial data
- Perform risk analysis and draw audit plans
- Analyze audit findings and compare with client submissions
- Determine correct tax payable/refundable and recommend remedial actions
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Accounting, Auditing, Taxation, Commerce, Business Administration, or Chartered Accounting
- Two (2) years’ work experience in Tax and Customs Audit or one of them
- Experience in Excise Duty is an added advantage
