The National University of Lesotho invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of ADJUNCT PROFESSOR/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR IN the Department of Nursing, Faculty of Health Sciences.

1.0 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- PhD in Nursing with specialization in Midwifery and Neonatal Care at Masters level
- At least 10 publications in Refereed/Accredited Journals.
- At least three years in teaching experience and supervising post graduate learners at university level.
- Be registered with the National Nursing Council.
- Experience in curriculum development and Measurement and Evaluation.
2.0 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in the design of new postgraduate programs/courses in the Department.
- Provide leadership role in postgraduate programs in the Department of Nursing.
- Provide guidance in the design and implementation of Competency-based and E-learning curricula.
- Enhance research and publications amongst teaching staff.
- Promote team-building in the Department
- Participate in research activities in the Department
- Initiate, participate in and perform any other duty including administration as would be required from time to time by the Head of the Department.

- Copies of official transcripts of all applicable certificates.
- Evidence of work experience.

- Information regarding the applicant’s teaching and administrative experience.
- Contact details for three referees, one of whom should ideally be the applicant’s current or prior immediate superior.
- Publications reflecting the applicant’s most important research project (up to five publications). In the case of multi-author papers, the applicant should clearly outline their contribution to the work.
