ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR IN PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Associate Professor of Public Administration in the Department of Political and Administrative Studies.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
The applicants must be Associate Professor of Public Administration with a minimum of ten years teaching experience with a PhD at university level; evidence of extensive record of research output in referred and accredited publications. Preference will be given to those who specialise in teaching the courses in various fields of Public Administration, including Public Administration Thought, Comparative Public Administration, Public Finance, Human Resources Management, Public Policy and Local Government.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidates will be expected to: teach Public Administration courses and supervise students at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, engage in research, curriculum development, academic citizenship, community services activities, and perform any other duties assigned to him/her by the Head of Department from time to time.

Employment Type
This is a two-year contract position for expatriates, and a permanent and pensionable for locals on condition of passing two-year probation.
