ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR IN POLITICAL SCIENCE
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position of an Associate Professor of Political Science in the Department of Political and Administrative Studies.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
The applicants must be Associate Professors of Political Science with a minimum of ten years teaching experience with a PhD at university level; evidence of extensive record of research output in referred and accredited publications. Preference will be given to those who specialise in teaching the courses in various fields of Political Science, including Political Theory, Comparative Politics, International Relations, International Political Economy, and Political Sociology.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidates will be expected to: teach Political Science courses and supervise students at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, engage in research, curriculum development, academic citizenship, community services activities, and perform any other duties assigned to him/her by the Head of Department from time to time.

Employment Type
This is a two-year contract position for expatriates, and a permanent and pensionable for locals on condition of passing two-year probation.
