Assistant : Planner (MgO3/Digesters) (Grade P11)
Sappi Saiccor requires an Assistant Planner to assist with engineering planning administration with respect to shutdowns, plant modifications and mainatenance as well as updating of SAP plant maintenance system.
This role reports to the Planning Manager
The main responsibilities of the job are :
- Management of PM and PS notification on the SAP system
- Print Scheduled work orders for the execution of scheduled and / or planned maintenance tasks
- Confirm works orders and solving of PAPO statuses
- Administer Master data information as well as infrastructure management

Create a safe work environment by identifying and managing risks associated with a task to be performed and maintaining high levels of housekeeping

Maintain legal requirements, document control and record keeping

Assist with management of plant and infrastructure maintenance costs (within budget)

Create purchase requisitions and update service acceptance to ensure vendors are paid timeously
The ideal candidate should have
- Grade 12
- 1-2 years relevant experience within heavy industry environment
- Working knowledge of SAP Plant maintenance
