Position: Assistant Manager
Red A cash and Carry is a well established wholesale and retail store dedicated to providing quality products and excellent service to our valued customers. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to join our team Assistant Manager
Qualifications:
– Tertiary education in accounting and mathematics
– Minimum of two years of relevant work experience in the wholesale or retail industry
– Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and power point
– Strong analytical and organizational skills
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Demonstrated leadership abilities and a proactive approach to problem solving
– Ability to work well in a team and provide exceptional customer service
– Understanding of stock management and inventory control
RESPONSIBILITIES
– Assist in stock management, including ordering, receiving, and organizing merchandise
– Conduct regular checks of goods at exit to ensure accuracy and prevent theft
– Collaborate with the management team to optimize floor operations and customer service
– Provide support and training and supervise staff
– Assist in analyzing sales data and trends to make informed decisions
– Contribute to the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies
– Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through exceptional service
– Perform other duties assigned by the store Manager
PROBATION PERIOD
The selected candidate will undergo a probationary period of three months, during which their suitability for a full time role as Assistant Manager will be assessed.
