The YPP creates multiple opportunities for talented and qualified young people from across the Commonwealth to contribute to our core work through the transference of technical expertise, innovative ideas, specialist knowledge and fresh perspectives.

The Assistant Learning and Organisational Development Officer is part of the Human Resources and Facilities Management Division, and reports to the Head of Learning and Organisational Development. The Learning and Organisational Development (LOD) Officer will provide effective advice and support in all activities related to Learning and Development and Organisation Development. They will advise staff and managers on the Learning and Development policy and contribute to the implementation of the Learning and Organisational Development Strategy, referring complex queries to the Head of Learning and Organisational Development. They will have responsibility for the coordination and administration of a range of learning and development activities and projects as well as ensuring the development and maintenance of robust learning and development systems and processes. These will include: managing corporate induction, learning and development management and administration, including e-learning, performance management scheme arrangements, supporting the provision of management information and budget tracking. The role holder will be the first point of contact for learning and development queries ensuring an excellent customer experience to all staff members and managers.

To be considered for this role you must be a citizen of a Commonwealth country aged 27 years or younger at the time applications close. A degree in human resources management/ development, organisational development, psychology or other related field, or equivalent qualification.In line with requirements in similar international organisations, at least 4 years’ progressive experience of working in human resources roles with a Learning and Development component.
