Bureau of Statistics (BOS) will be conducting the 2019/2020 Agricultural Census in October 2020. The Census is a complex, large-scale operation that is usually undertaken once in every decade. It is one of the largest statistical data collections undertaken by Bureau of Statistics.
The Bureau of Statistics therefore invites medically and physically fit citizens of Lesotho under the age of 50 years to apply for the following temporary positions tenable in the ten (10) Districts of Lesotho:

Job Summary
Under the general supervision of the Assistant Finance Officer, the incumbent is responsible for maintaining accounting records, processing payments and banking revenue and trust monies
MAIN DUTIES
1. To prepare and process payments
1.1 Enters invoice details into the system
1.2 Processes payment voucher
1.3 Attaches supporting documents to vouchers
1.4 Generates payments
1.5 Submits payment voucher and payment list
1.6 Records payment made
1.7 Collects and registers cheques
1.8 Process payment adjustments
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Education and Training
Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting).
