Position: Assistant Finance Officer
We are seeking a motivated Graduate Trainee with a maximum of three years since graduation to join our team as an Assistant Finance Officer Intern. This position offers valuable hands-on experience in the field of finance, specifically tailored to individuals with a background in accounting.
Key Qualifications:
1. Educational Background: The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or General Accountant (GA) qualification or higher.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting: The intern will be involved in financial reporting activities, gaining practical exposure to the preparation and analysis of financial statements. This includes generating reports, interpreting data, and assisting in the communication of financial information to relevant stakeholders.
2. Credit Customer Oversight: The intern will have the opportunity to assist in overseeing credit customers, which involves monitoring credit transactions, assessing creditworthiness, and managing collections. This aspect of the role provides valuable insight into credit management practices within a financial context.
Required Skills:
1. Excel Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential for this role. The candidate should possess a comprehensive understanding of Excel functions and formulas, as they will be required to utilize spreadsheets for various financial analyses and reporting tasks.
2. Communication Skills: Strong communication skills are a must, particularly in English. The ability to effectively articulate ideas, both verbally and in writing, is crucial for collaborating with team members, liaising with clients, and conveying financial information accurately and clearly.
N.B: The candidate will work at the Mafeteng branch, so they need to be open to moving to Mafeteng.
