2. OPEN INTERN POSITIONS
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR INTERN
Job Description
The Assistant Director Intern will support the Director and production team in coordinating the smooth running of television shoots.
The role provides exposure to production planning, set coordination, scheduling and managing the flow of a shoot.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Director and production team during filming.
- Help coordinate cast, crew and contributors on set.
- Assist with maintaining the production schedule.
- Help prepare and communicate daily shooting requirements.
- Assist in coordinating scene and shot preparation.
- Help ensure the set is ready before cameras roll.
- Support communication between different departments.
- Assist with maintaining discipline, timing and workflow on set.
- Take production notes and communicate relevant information to the production team.
- Perform general production-support duties as required.
Requirements
- Interest in directing, television or film production.
- Basic understanding of film/television production processes.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Previous production or set experience is an advantage but not essential.
