A dynamic individual on a fixed term contract at the National Department of Health to perform the function of Asset Manager.
AssistantS Director: Asset Management
CTC: R470 040 per annum
Qualification & Experience:
3 Year national Diploma or degree in Accounting
Advanced asset management & barcoding experience
Asset management & financial reporting
Ability to correctly interpret & apply policies and regulations
Minimum of 7 years related work experience
Work experience in grant finance management
Computer literate in MS Office & Asset Management Systems and further training in asset management an added advantage
Ability to correctly interpret & apply policies and regulations

Asset Classification
Physical Asset Verification
Reconciliation of Assets
Record Keeping and Reporting
Attending to Internal & External Audit queries relating to assets
Support Risk Management with regard to assets
