Requirements:
An appropriate recognized degree/national diploma in Public/Office administration
or equivalent NQF6 qualification and a minimum of three years’ experience in the
relevant field.
Candidate must have thorough knowledge of Administrative procedures, Financial
management; Project management, Public service and Departmental policies and
procedures, Sound planning and organizing skills, Communication (verbal and
written) skills, Facilitation and leadership skills, Computer skills and Report
writing skills.
Good interpersonal skills, ability to work long hours voluntarily, Ability to gather
and analyse information, Ability to work with difficult persons and resolve conflict,
Ability to work under extreme pressure and sense of responsibility and loyalty
Duties:
Processing of service benefits transactions on leave, allowances, medical
assistance, long service recognition, pension, resettlement, service termination
and injury on duty.
Compile and keep databases on all issues of service benefits and conditions.
Respond to clients’ enquiries.
