POSITION: Artisans (Crochet, Knit, Weave)
MASERU, LESOTHO
We are a sustainable knitwear and homeware brand. We produce elevated crochet and knitted basics and everyday staples using up-cycled fabrics and natural fibres. At Nthatuoa, we envision a world where the age-old skills of craftsmanship are not only preserved but celebrated as a vital part of cultural heritage. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create handmade knitwear pieces using crochet, knitting, weaving, or punch needle techniques.
Follow design specifications and patterns provided by the company.
Ensure high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail in every piece.
Meet production deadlines and manage time effectively.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
REQUIREMENTS
Passion for craftsmanship and a creative mindset.
Willingness to undergo training for new crafting skills that the company may introduce.
Proven experience and expertise in crochet, knitting, weaving.
Strong understanding of different yarn types, textures, and colours.
Ability to read and interpret knitting patterns and charts.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Availability to work at our studios five days a week.
Must be based in Maseru, Lesotho.
Willingness to undergo training for new crafting skills that the company may introduce.
