Job Description
To direct and manage the Area resources, in line with the Bank’s short and long-term plan, policies and values with a view to generating the highest return on capital employed, promoting customer loyalty by providing a superior customer experience and identifying and promoting new business, in order to ensure future growth without incurring unmanageable risks.
Are you someone who can
- Ensure the Area is managed within the approved budget.
- Achieve revenue targets and optimising revenue opportunities
- Establish target and budget goals whilst ensuring effective control of costs for a range of functional areas to increase cost efficiency in the Area
- Develop rigorous business cases to drive new, differentiated market growth strategies as well as defensive strategies to maintain area market share
- Ensure accurate and reliable internal and external financial administration information and reports is available for the Area clients to use
- Ensure Area profitability. Increase Area market share. Understand the needs and expectations of customer base
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and service plan to deliver on customer needs/ expectations and targets.
You will be an ideal candidate if you
- Have a minimum degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Business Management or equivalent.
- Have a post-graduate qualification (it will be an added advantage).
- Have 4-5 years relevant experience.
