In this position, you will serve the needs of the business and guests by leading the achievement of the financial, strategic, and operational goals and targets of Avani Lesotho Hotel and Casino as well as Avani Maseru Hotel and Casino. You will provide day-to-day leadership and direction of the two properties by maximizing financial returns and profitability, driving team-member development and ensuring that the highest of standards and guest experiences are delivered, meeting and exceeding brand standards, instituting responsible sustainability practices, and creating brand awareness within source markets as well as the local community.

Business Related Degree in related field.

Minimum of ten (10) years at Senior Management level experience in large Gaming and Hospitality operations, with sales & marketing, financial management, People & Culture, and financial planning including cash-flow and capex responsibility.

Ability to analyze and synopsize a monthly financial statement and prepare detailed budgets and operating forecasts. Proficient in use of hotel property management systems

Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with team member representatives, guests, top management, and client groups.

Ability to work in an organized, efficient manner with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and follow-through.

·       Strong experience in managing a diverse workforce including both sales and operations.

Good understanding of the Gaming Industry as well as applicable regulations.

Proven business and commercial acumen with strong financial management ability.
