MINISTRY OF NATURAL RESOURCES – LOWLANDS RURAL WATER SUPPLY AND SANITATION PROJECT
REQUEST FOR APPLICATIONS FOR THE YOUNG APPRENTICES POSITIONS
The Kingdom of Lesotho has received financing from the African Development Fund towards cost of the Lesotho Lowlands Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Project (LLRWSSP) implemented through the Ministry of Natural Resources. The government intends to use a fraction of the Loan toward the payment of Young apprentices to be Engaged under “Construction of Tertiary Pipeline and Reservoir for Zones 7&8”-Lekokoaneng Cluster.
The aim of the engagement of the Young Apprentices is to capacitate and strengthen the youths in the field of engineering and community development. The young Apprentices will work with the Engineer`s team on a daily basis to gain expertise for emerging job opportunities in the water sector. The engagement is planned for a period of eight (8) months.
The Ministry of Natural Resources now invites interested Young Apprentices to submit their applications for the Positions of Project Technicians (2) and Assistant Community Liaison Officers (2): Interested candidates must submit: (a) a Cover Letter clearly indicating their interest (b) Comprehensive updated CV (c) certified copies of educational certificates), (d) Reference Letters with at least three (3) referees and (d) Certified Copies of their IDs.
Interested candidates should have a minimum of Diploma in Civil Engineering/Water and Environment Engineering or Diploma in Construction Management for the positions of Project Technicians. Assistant Community Liaison should have at least a Diploma in Adult Education/Community Development/Development Studies. Preference will be given to applicant residing within the Lekokoaneng area and /Or within Senekane Community Council.
