A TECH4GOOD HACKATHON BRINGING PEOPLE TOGETHER ACROSS SOUTHERN & EAST AFRICA TO CO-CREATE ANTI-CORRUPTION SOLUTIONS THROUGH EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES
Join the hybrid event to learn new skills, network with like-minded peers, and create uncommon solutions to combat corruption in Southern and East Africa. The most promising ideas may receive up to $10,000 and mentorship to further develop their tools.
Requirements:
- If you’re passionate about fighting corruption and strengthening transparency and integrity using emerging technology solutions, this is the hackathon for you!
- Applicants should be at least 18-years old and citizens of the target countries. US citizens or lawful permanent residents are not eligible.

Benefits
- The HACKCORRUPTION team will be welcoming 100 participants from 6 Southern and East African countries to take part in this hybrid (virtual & in-person) hackathon.
- Fifteen participants from participating countries will receive fully funded trips to Johannesburg, South Africa, in addition to other virtual and in-person attendees that will be selected.
