Exporter of the Year Award
Call for Applications and General Terms and Conditions
- Nominations are invited from companies who are currently supplying or exporting to South African and US Markets to participate in an Exporter Competition.
- Award
The National award winner will be given a trophy and automatically qualify for the Regional (SACU +3) competition.
- Eligibility criteria
- Locally registered SMEs and emerging exporters
- Supplying SA and US market for the past two years
- Supplying manufacturing and agricultural products
- Complying with the national legal regulations and business requirements
- How to Apply
Eligible companies must collect the Exporter Awards Entry Information Forms available at the LNDC headquarters, Development House Block A, ground reception, (electronic copy can be shared upon request) and share a motivation (of not more than 2000 words) covering the following points:
- Why you chose the markets you did
- How you prepared for market entry
- Which barriers you had to overcome
- Description of the export activity
- Degree of innovation and originality of the tools used for export
- Long-term orientation and potential of the expansion strategy
- The lessons you learnt
- The results you achieved including value or volume of trade
The application together with the company registration certificate, and tax certificate must be sent to [email protected]; copied to [email protected] by end of business on the 14thMay 2021.
