Animal Feed Sales Intern Advert
Introduction
Lesotho Flour Mills, is a leading manufacturer of high-quality animal feeds, committed to providing nutrition solutions for livestock. We are currently looking for a dynamic, Animal Feed Sales Intern who is interested to learn more about animal nutrition, farmer support programs
and the sales of animal feed, for a one-year internship. The incumbent will be reporting to the Feed Sales Manager.
Key Performance Areas/Expected Outputs
The successful incumbent will have the opportunity to be exposed to the following:
- Animal feed nutrition and farmer production best practices, which will include exposure to egg, broiler chicken and piggery production.
- The use of technology to log production related statistics.
- Growing Sales of Makhulo Animal Feed.
- Development and maintenance of farmer relationships, industry partnerships, internally and externally, within the agricultural industry.
- Analysis of market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify and address customer needs.
- Collaboration with the marketing team to execute Makhulo Animal Feed promotional campaigns.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree in animal science and nutrition, or equivalent.
- Microsoft Office 365 exposure and proficiency in the use of Outlook, Excel & Word.
- Possession of a valid driver’s licence is essential.

- Knowledge of the agriculture and livestock industry.
- Ability to analyse market trends and make data-driven decisions.
- Results-oriented with a focus on sales and customer satisfaction.
