Analyst works with a Product owner and project team to perform detailed analysis and design of a product(s)/ system(s).

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3 Year Tertiary Degree (B.com or B.Sc Degree)
  • Minimum of 3 years proven software development experience, preferably in a property related industry
  • Previous experience of working in an agile environment and using recognized development methodology; e.g., Agile, SCRUM, and KANBAN

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Under the guidance of the product owner, researching and understanding business needs and requirements from various sources in order to flesh out the backlog
  • Performing of detailed analysis work for the team.
  • Problem solving and Diagnostic work
  • Researching and understanding business needs and requirements from various sources, including clients, users and Industry experts
  • Creating functional specifications and system design specifications
    Develop, model, document and maintain functional and system design specification
  • Involvement in functional / technical design sessions with the development teams
  • Participate in Testing, including but not restricted to review testing artefacts, facilitating User Acceptance Testing, Vendor integration testing
    Change management of requirements
  • Providing production support for escalated Customer service centre calls on product related issues
  • Providing innovative solutions for product features
  • Consistently delivering high quality service to clients

  • High competency with MS word, Excel, Visio, Powerpoint
  • Experience with SQL and UML (or equivalent modelling language) essential
