Job Purpose

  • To Generate and analyse Customer insights as it relates to card
  • To gather data and use statistical methods to analyse and generate MI reports
  • To Monitoring card issuing product performance
  • Training end users on Card Issuing processes  
  • To support the Card Issuing projects (i.e. Card modernisation project)

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • Use basic functions and formulas for sorting, aggregating, and managing data for analysis in Microsoft Excel to provide analysis and insights on product performance
  • Daily actioning of lien ageing report to ensure customers do not have liens yet corresponding debit have gone through
  • Distribute credit card sales leads to network on monthly basis
  • Analytics of customer issues reported in CCC to identify customer pain points and inform product enhancement
  • Card fraud analytics to inform fraud rules review
  • Monthly reporting on exit survey results
  • Monthly insights report on Courtesy calls feedback
  • Daily tracking of international ATM transactions to ensure adherence to single annual discretionary limit
  • Extracting and reporting of Mastercard Quarterly data
  • Extracting and reporting monthly CBL card data
  • Extracting and reporting staff credit card data
  • Interpret statistical findings and draw meaningful conclusions from data related to a variety of business needs.
  • Weekly courtesy calls for Credit card clients
  • Client onboarding for new Credit cards
  • Client exit survey results collection and analysis
  • Monthly card costs/Revenue substantiation
  • Drive card utilisation campaigns
  • Actioning of accounts with interest rate below or above product rate
  • Actioning of accounts without debit orders
  • Daily collection of manual fees
  • Conduct revenue assurance checks on OIF bot collections
  • Card prising optimisation

Preferred Qualification and Experience

  • Relevant degree in Business Commerce or related field.
  • Degree in Information Systems or related degree is an added advantage
  • 1-2 years experience in banking
  • Experience and exposure to Personal and Business Banking and knowledge of all PBB transactional, liabilities, lending and other products e.g. Card, Insurance, Channels, Merchant Solutions etc
