The following vacancies are currently available at Queen ‘Mamohato Memorial Hospital:
POSITION: ANAESTHETIC TECHNICIAN (x2)
Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma or Degree in Anaesthetic Technology, Clinical Technology (Anaesthesia), or equivalent
- Registered or eligible for registration with the Lesotho Medical, Dental and Pharmacy Council
- Minimum of 2–3 years of clinical experience in an operating theatre or critical care setting
- Experience in preparation, administration, and monitoring of anaesthesia during surgeries
- Familiarity with anaesthesia machines, monitors, and resuscitation equipment
- Prior experience in a tertiary or high-volume surgical hospital is desirable
- Ability to respond effectively during anaesthetic emergencies
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods
