RESPONSIBLE TO : SENIOR AIRPORT SECURITY OFFICE
MAIN DUTIES:
1. Screening of passengers and their baggage prior to boarding scheduled flights to ensure security and safety of aircraft and passengers.
2. Controls all access points leading to restricted areas of the Airport to ensure secure Airport facilities.
3. Enforcement of security regulations at the Airport including use of identity documents to restrict unauthorized entry.
4. Checks the Airport Security Assistants’ logbook weekly to establish whether there are any irregularities and for necessary action.
5. Responsible for safety of crew, passengers and general public.
6. Supervises Airport Security Assistants.
JOB SPECIFICATION
• COSC with at least two (2) years satisfactory service at the level of
Security Assistant.
