Role Description
As an Advanced Life Support (ALS) Paramedic, you will:
- Deliver rapid pre-hospital care in emergency settings
- Perform ALS interventions including intubation, drug administration, and cardiac monitoring
- Collaborate with command centre operators, hospital teams, and EMS personnel
- Maintain detailed patient and incident records
- Support cross-border operations aligned with regional protocols
- Participate in drills, continuing education, and performance reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Health Sciences (BHSc) in Emergency Medical Care or Certified ALS Paramedic (HPCSA or equivalent regional board)
- Familiarity with CAD and ePCR systems
- Valid Code 10 driver’s license + defensive driving certificate
- Fluency in English; multilingual skills are an advantage
- Experience with Lesotho–South Africa EMS operations is preferred
