Administrator Supply Chain
Objective of the job:
Mercedes-Benz SA is looking for an administrator to provide administrative and hands-on support to the Direct sales team to maximize sales, market share, dealer and customer satisfaction and long-term profitability for the product in compliance to the Company’s Integrity & Anti Bribery Codes, Conflict of Interest Policy & S.H.E.Q requirements and to perform delegated S.H.E.Q tasks and duties & to inform superior about deviations.
Main Tasks:
Vehicle Ordering – Coordinate, that all vehicle orders are placed and planned accurately and timeously with Sales Planning / Ordering team. Ensure vehicles are ordered with the correct vehicle specifications as per feedback from the spec meeting as well as ensuring key vehicle specifications are ordered on all stock vehicles. To ensure customer required specifications are translated into vehicle orders.
Vehicle Pipeline Management – Continuously monitor vehicles in the pipeline to ensure specification accuracy and ensure the planned delivery dates are also updated frequently. Resolve IDR’s on vehicles with support from Product Management prior to any production related freeze points.
Customer query solution – Resolve all customer queries related to orders (e.g. products, damages and late deliveries) in line with company policies and procedures. Also for dealer back office tasks, if required, and capacity allows it.
Projects – effectively support lines of business and management by completing projects within agreed scope and timelines.
Administrative support – Support the Sales Team with adhoc queries as well as usage changes and demo conversions. Provide feedback and input into the KUFRI planning process on a monthly basis. Assist the Sales Planning team with vehicle allocations on consignment stock.
Self-development –Taking personal responsibility for learning and development through a process of assessment, reflection and actioning. This can include both on and/or off the job training. This also includes the sharing of learnings with team.

Experience:
2-3 years’ experience in the specific field i.e. Product background preferable.
