Commencing salary: R196 407 annum plus 37 % in lieu of benefits
Requirements: A Senior Certificate coupled with a good understanding of the Import and Export environment, specifically the administration of an export control regime applicable to the exportation of identified goods for various reasons. Proven experience in office administration. Advanced computer literacy. Ability to work in a team and under pressure as well as to render creative contributions to the organisation. Ability to function independently and communicate effectively.
Key Responsibilities: The successful applicant will be required to assist in the administration of the relevant provisions of International Trade Administration Act. This will include receiving export permit applications submitted electronically, by hand or mail. Sorting of hard copy applications according to type, and distributing applications to the relevant managers for further processing. Management of information relating to export permits captured and approved on the electronic permit system, including management and filing of hard copy information.
