Administrator and Human Resources Manager


The Directorate of Dispute Prevention and Resolution invites applications from suitably qualified Basotho candidates for the position of:


Tenable at the DDPR Head Office, Maseru. The Incumbent will be responsible to the Director. The successful
candidate shall be responsible for the execution of the following duties:-

• Advise the Director and Sectional Heads at the Head Office and the Regional Offices, on the best HR practices and procedures;
• Review, revise and update the Human resources policy documents to keep abreast with HR developments;
• Oversee the implementation and compliance with the Human Resources Policies and Procedures;
• Develop, analyse and update the DDPR’s annual salary budget and advise on the effective administrative controls;
• Control, manage and monitor the staff payroll;
• Managing day-to-day HR matters and providing administrative support to the Director and all Sectional Heads at the Head Office and all the Regional Offices;
• Develop and implement staff training and development interventions;
• Oversee and manage staff disciplinary matters;
• Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance by the staff of the DDPR;
• Manage the recruitment and selection processes for the staff appointed by the Director;
• Custodian and Manager of all staff records.

• Degree in Human Resources Management. A qualification in Postgraduate Diploma in Conciliation and Arbitration will be an added advantage.

• A minimum of five (5) years working experience in middle management, with extensive knowledge of all sub-disciplines of the Human Resources function;
• Excellent interpersonal, peoples and communication skills;
• Computer literacy and Valid Driver’s license.
