TIB Insurance Brokers is seeking an administrative assistant to join our Human Capital service team.
This junior position is primarily responsible for providing administrative support in the servicing of our Medical Aid and Employee Benefits clients and their members, working closely with clients, members, service providers withing the broader Human Capital team.
This is an opportunity for an organised, service-oriented individual who enjoys working with people, systems and detailed administration and who is interested in developing a career in the Employee Benefits industry.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support withing Human Capital team.
- Process and maintain member information, including new memberships, amendments and terminations.
- Assist with Medical Aid and Employee Benefits queries from clients and members.
- Liaise with clients, members and service providers and follow matters through to resolution.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation and supporting schedules.
- Assist with reconciliations, reporting and other administrative requirements of the department.
- Ensure work is completed accurately and within required service timelines.
Minimum Requirements
- Tertiary Degree in appropriate discipline
- 3 Years previous experience in an administrative, or client-service role.
- Strong written and verbal English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Advantageous
- Previous experience in insurance or financial services.
- Experience dealing directly with clients or members.
- Experience working with membership administration, reconciliations or similar processes.
