ACVV Franschhoek is a child protection organisation that provides prevention, early intervention and statutory services to assist families at risk. The Organisation’s dedicated team of social workers provide protection services for children and families by safeguarding them, increasing the communities’ knowledge and involvement, and developing skills so that families and individuals can function effectively.
ACVV Franschhoek seeks to appoint a registered social worker to be based in Franschhoek, Western Cape.
Start Date: 1 December 2019
The purpose of this position is to be part of their dedicated team of social workers to provide protection services for children and families by safeguarding them, increasing the communities’ knowledge and involvement, and developing skills so that families and individuals can function effectively.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Social Work Degree Registered with the SACSSP & proof of payment of annual fee for 2019/20 (must have registration certificate)
- Work experience in child protection services, the Children’s Act and Statutory work.
- Computer literacy Valid driver’s license and the ability to drive a manual vehicle
- Police clearance certificate
- Salaries and benefits negotiable within the scales of the ACVV.
