The Actuarial Analyst at the Central Bank of Lesotho is responsible providing technical actuarial support to the Insurance Supervision Division.
𝐀𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞:
• Conducting actuarial reviews of financial statements, reserving methodologies, and solvency positions of regulated entities
• Analyzing pricing structures and risk models submitted by insurers and pension funds
• Monitoring compliance with regulatory requirements and international actuarial standards
• Evaluating internal controls and risk management frameworks of supervised entities
• Contributing to the development and review of regulatory policies and guidelines
• Preparing actuarial reports, risk assessments, and recommendations for supervisory actions
• Supporting the implementation of actuarial components in supervisory frameworks and tools
• Providing technical advice and capacity building within the division and across departments

• Relevant bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields: Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics
