Location: Chicago/Rosemont, IL; Hooksett, NH; or Work remotely from anywhere in the U.S!
Purpose: Responsible for the ordering new vehicles for Merchants division and Fleet Clients to include all makes, models, and specialty vehicles such as buses, and equipment. Additionally, manage the client incentive OEM program and responsibilities around managing rebate reconciliation.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the overall ordering of all vehicles (cars, light trucks, medium/heavy duty trucks, and equipments) for Merchants Fleet client and divisions
- Work directly with the automobile manufacturers (OEM) to facilitate the placement of factory orders and enhance the relationships and maximize cost savings for clients and Merchants Fleet
- Select fleet minded Courtesy Delivery Dealers for all factory orders
- Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to document, manage, and track vehicle orders
- Review and quality check vehicle orders
- Demonstrate and utilize thorough knowledge of using OEM order guides and internal vehicle configurator tool
- Process all Order changes
- Demonstrate good understanding of vehicle and/or upfit specs for accuracy prior to order placement
- Assist Fleet Acquisition Manager in all aspects of managing businesses portfolio of fleet vehicles
- Partner with internal stakeholders (Sales, Client Services Team, Strategic Consulting) to provide industry product knowledge and support as requested
- Provide consultative approach to Client Services Team on potential solutions/alternatives regarding vehicle specs
- Acquire and distribute product materials and incentives to the Regional Sales Manager
- Assist Fleet Acquisition Manager in tracking Key Performance Indicators for accountability purposesRespond and act on email correspondence to support entire ordering process at Merchants Fleet
- Participate as a subject matter expert in all technology enhancement meetings to include requirement gathering, testing, and production sign-off
- Assist in the issuance, tracking and follow up on dealer and upfit vendor purchase orders
- Other duties as requested to support the client and internal stakeholders in meeting corporate goals

Experience
- Extensive knowledge of OEM and Dealership operations to include experience with manufacturer’s incentive programs a plus
- Working knowledge of Microsoft products and experience using a CRM
Education: Minimum of H.S. Degree or equivalent
