We currently have an opportunity for an Accounting Administrator to join our Accounting Team. Reporting to the Manager Accounting, the core focus of this role is to provide support in regards to activities relating to the Company’s cashbook.
Requirement Overview:
To perform the process and ensure administration of the Company’s cashbook in compliance to the Company’s related Policies, Integrity & Anti Bribery Codes, Conflict of Interest Policy & S.H.E. requirements and to perform delegated S.H.E. tasks and duties & to inform superior about deviations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Downloading of bank statements and allocating open items.
- Uploading EFT bank statements for Portfolio related EFT’s to the CMS System. Allocating Receipts identified by operations and legal departments to the CMS System.
- Creating and maintaining master records in SAP.
- Receive requests to create new BPID’s in SAP. Check if supplier integrity check is required and perform if necessary.
- Reconciling bank accounts.
- Daily download of bank statements from banking system. Reconcile with SAP and follow up reconciling items.
- Allocation of intercompany loan, interest transactions.
- Cash flow reporting. Prepare the cash flow daily to reflect the result of comparison of bank statement against planned expenditure. Determine the request for/transfer of cash flow to/from Treasury.
- Prepare EFT payments and obtain signatures to release on banking systems (Hyphen). Accurately prepared on daily basis in accordance with standard procedure.
- On a daily basis, pull the anti-money laundering threshold report and complete the online reporting of transactions over the threshold.
- Responsible for overseeing the timely execution of ICS design and effectiveness testing for the Accounting department. This includes ensuring that colleagues deliver their designs and test results in a timely manner, collating the required documentation, and sending it through to business controls on behalf of the department.
- Ensure all cashbook processes and documents are in accordance with ICS requirements. Responsible for the performance, maintenance and reporting of ICS controls in own area of responsibility.
- Assisting with Ad-Hoc Tasks within the accounting and controlling department as they arise, E.g. New Projects, Stand In Tasks, Head Quarter and Region Reconciliations and Surveys.
