Accountant Intern

Colossus Global is seeking an Accountant Intern to support its finance team. The role involves maintaining accurate financial and accounting records, ensuring a strong internal control environment, and providing support to internal teams to facilitate high-quality service delivery to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements in line with IFRS standards
- Handle tax planning and implementation, ensuring compliance with tax regulations
- Carry out bank reconciliations and other balance sheet reconciliations
- Secure favorable terms in business negotiations with suppliers and partners
- Implement and oversee strong procurement policies and procedures
- Conduct financial forecasting and risk assessments
- Review accounts and internal business plans, focusing on financial resource needs
- Coordinate with external auditors

Qualifications, Experience and Exposure
- Qualified Chartered Accountant with at least one year of experience in an audit or accounting firm
- Membership in LIA is an added advantage
