Overview
We are looking for a disciplined and detail-oriented Accountant to manage finances across multiple business units including service station, supermarket, construction, poultry, wholesale, and motor spares.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements for multiple entities
- Perform full reconciliations (bank, debtors, creditors, inventory, GL)
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Assist with internal and external audits and compliance (VAT, PAYE, statutory returns)
- Strengthen internal controls and financial accuracy
- Work with operations to improve cost control, stock management, and profitability
- Implement and improve accounting systems and processes (QuickBooks / Sage)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance
- 3–5 years’ experience in a multi-entity or complex business environment
- Strong Excel and accounting system skills
- Experience in retail, construction, or trading environment is an advantage
