Accountant
Job Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Senior Accountant, the incumbent will capture transaction in pastel accounting software. She/he will apply principles of accounting to analyse financial information and prepare financial reports by compiling information, preparing profit and loss statements and utilizing appropriate accounting control procedures. The Incumbent will analyse revenue and expenditure trends and recommend appropriate budget and ensure expenditure control. She/he will also be responsible for reviewing the work of the Assistant Accountant and the Cashiers.
Qualifications and experience:
The incumbent must hold a ACCA General Accountancy/ B com Degree in Accounting or any relevant qualification. She/he must have at least 3 years’ experience in the field and must have Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control principles, and knowledge of financial and accounting software application.
