Centre for Creative Education seeks to appoint a Academic PLT Coordinator to be based in Cape Town.
Job Description:
Manage practical placement communication and support PLT as needed around Practicals
Support PLT in actioning, writing up, editing, and filing all documentation needed as part of the Quality Assurance Frameworks and CHE:
Report writing to use as information into all quality assurance structures as a pure statistical report but also to interpret resultant statistics for presentation to AB and Board.
Documents to be finalized/updated yearly or within given timeframes

Editing
Forms and Templates
Academic Development:
Individual support and workshops for students. Referencing, plagiarism etc.
Assisting students with understanding assignments, reading list and research, brainstorming, structure of essay: introduction, body, and conclusion, writing a draft, referencing, rounding off.
Development of Online Tutorials for Academic Development: Online essay writing tutorials to assist students with essays, referencing, plagiarism etc.
Skillls Needed for the Post:
A minimum of a degree with a specialisation relevant to the above
Good writing and editing skills
Thorough and reliable administrative skills
Able to take initiative
Preferably worked in a higher education setting
Able to make decisions
Good communication skills
Teaching experience with adults
