**Purpose of position: **

To lecture Academic English for the Commerce Faculty.

To assist in the administration and departmental affairs and activities as required by the academic department.

To work with the Dean of the Faculty on developing new course materials and curricula.

**Duties and Responsibilities: **

+ Lecturing

+ General administration

+ Setting and marking of assessments

+ Preparation of notes and additional study materials

+ Quality Assurance

+ Management of at-risk students

+ Invigilation

+ Contribute and implement innovative teaching and learning strategies

+ Participate in research activities and projects

+ Keep abreast of newest developments in trends in subject fields

+ Participate in Campus Events and activities

**Experience: **

+ Relevant lecturing experience

+ Necessary knowledge of higher education practices and processes

+ Relevant research experience

**Qualifications**

**Minimum qualification: **

**Bachelors in Linguistics and Languages (English)**
