Site Worx (PTY) LTD invites applications from experienced candidates for the position of Laundry and House Keeping Supervisor.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop new methods for increasing laundry efficiency and optimal cleaning of the facility.
- Supervise and train all laundry and housekeeping staff, including scheduling and assigning tasks.
- Make reports and recommendations when required.
- Monitor distribution of washing to clients and necessary stakeholders.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, including requisitions for restocking.
- Record and monitor laundry and cleaning cost.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure facilities are maintained to high standards.
- Provide other duties and services as assigned by the executive management.
- Resolve customer complaints related to laundry and housekeeping services.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
- Keep up-to-date records of MSDS sheets and provide accessibility to them to all employees.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar line of business.
- Effective supervisory skills
- In-depth knowledge of cleaning best practices, chemicals, equipment, and procedures.
- Ability to work shifts that meet operational requirements.
- Must have diploma in hospitality and computer literate.
- Individual must have an eye for detail.
