It’s an exciting time to join Verra! Our organization is growing rapidly and building the capacity needed to meet strategic organizational requirements. We are seeking our first Financial Planning & Analysis Director to support financial decision making and strategy. This role will report to the COO/CFO and will provide deep analysis in a data driven environment to maximize performance. The role offers the opportunity to obtain a ‘big picture’ view of the company’s performance while at the same time improving processes to drive forecasting/budgeting efficiency and accuracy.

Specific functions you will be responsible for … 

  • Developing and conducting detailed financial modeling to support decision-making by Management.
  • In collaboration with the Director of Finance, supporting the annual budgeting process with forecasts of revenue streams and factors (internal and external) that will impact expenses.
  • Developing thoughtful and easy-to-follow reports and dashboards to assist Verra leadership in making data-based resource allocations and other key business decisions.
  • Building, leading, and fostering the development of a team of business analysts.
  • Assisting in special projects needed by Management and the Board of Directors.

You bring with you…

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business analytics with 5+ years’ experience in financial planning and analysis, investment banking, or private equity
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong oral, written, influence, and interpersonal skills with fluency in English a must.
  • Cultural awareness that enables you to work well with stakeholders and partners from different countries and cultures.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organization skills and client service attitude.
  • Detail oriented and self-motivated.
  • A self-starter approach to your work. You do not wait for assignments but instead, dive in headfirst and are comfortable finding solutions.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

Preferred

  • Advanced degree in Finance, Business Analytics, or other applicable area of study.
  • Technical accounting knowledge and exposure (GAAP) preferred. CPA certification is not required.

Compensation at Verra

To help us attract and retain top talent, Verra pays employees competitively in the market. In return, we expect each employee to, at a minimum:

  • Embody Verra’s values.

For this position, the salary range is between $90,906 – $122,755 USD.  The compensation band is based on a U.S. base salary range and shares the min and max base salary for the position. This position is eligible for remote work.   

The final compensation offered will be contingent upon role, level and location. Our Talent team can share the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. 

We will recognize employees who go beyond expected performance with salary increases and/or promotions, but the bar for earning those rewards is high.

Remote candidates will be considered. However, you must have work authorization in your location that does not require sponsorship from Verra Additionally, there are locations in which Verra is not able to support fully remote work.

Wherever possible, we aim to find mutually aggregable solutions for international hiring. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several geographic markets. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Salary is one component of Verra’s total compensation package which also includes:

  • Health, vision and dental care, and life insurance;
  • Verra contributions to each employee’s retirement plan;
  • Verra contributions as required by national labor laws in countries where staff are located;
  • Paid Time Off (PTO), comprising 22-30 days plus eleven floating holidays, sabbatical after five years of service, and other leave allowances; and
  • Funds to support professional development.
