24 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Lesotho with 4 recoveries

Two days ago, Lesotho confirmed that COVID-19 tests are now done at National Reference Laboratories (NRL) Lepereng. This was announced at a press conference held at the Ministry of Health Auditorium Maseru.

Health experts team was led by Director General Dr. Nyane Letsie and the press conference was attended by journalists from different media houses.

Today, the Right Honourable the Prime Minister, Dr. Moeketsi Majoro announced that 24 people have tested positive for coronavirus to-date.

The Prime Minister was sharing COVID-19 latest results through state media on Friday night (26/06/2020). The Prime Minister outlined that of the 3605 tests, 24 are positive and 4 have recovered.

Therefore, he appealed for cooperation amongst the nation if Lesotho is to curb the pandemic.
