Now in its tenth year, BigPicture encourages photographers from around the world to contribute their work to this competition that will both celebrate and illustrate the rich diversity of life on Earth, and inspire action to protect and conserve it through the power of imagery.
There are seven categories:
• Art of Nature
• Aquatic Life
• Winged Life
• Landscapes, Waterscapes, and Flora
• Terrestrial Wildlife
• Human/Nature
• Photo Story: A Matter Of Time
The objective is to remain faithful to the original experience and to never deceive the viewer or misrepresent the reality of the natural world. Localised adjustments should be used appropriately. Entrants retain ownership and all other rights to submitted photographs.
Entry fees: 25 USD for up to 10 single image submissions in any category. 15 USD for each 6–8 image Photo Story submission.

Open worldwide to all photography enthusiasts and professionals alike.
Prize
The Grand Prize winner will receive 5,000 USD in cash. The first place winners of the seven categories will each receive 1,000 USD in cash.
