Entries for the Hippocrates international Open Prize and Health Professional Prize will close on 14 February 2022.
Entries for the Hippocrates Young Poet Prize will close on 1 March 2022.
Who may enter
There are three categories:
• The Open Category, which anyone in the world may enter.
• The Health Professional Category, open to health professionals (health service staff or students, clinicians or academics) from anywhere in the world.
• The Young Poets Category, open to poets from anywhere in the world aged 14 to 18 years.
Short description
The Hippocrates Prize for Poetry and Medicine is an annual international award for an unpublished poem on a medical subject.
Poems must be in English, no more than 50 lines in length and not have previously been published in any form.
Poems should be entered online.
Entry fees
Open Category: £7 per entry.
Health Professional Category: £7 per entry.
Young Poets Category: entry is free.
