ADVERTISEMENT FOR SECURITY SERVICES AT MTI HEADQUARTERS.
THE MINISTRY OF TRADE AND INDUSTRY (MTI) invites tenders from eligible Security Companies to provide 24 HOURS Security services at the MINISTRY’S HEAD OFFICE: LNDC PHASE II for the Financial Year 2019/2020.
Evaluation criteria for security services will be based on the following:
- Financial capacity of the company (Audited Accounts: Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cashflow Statement)
- Equipment to be used (with copies of licenses for licensed equipment)
- Education/Qualifications and proof of screening of personnel to be deployed
- Record of service
- Strategy/ method of service delivery
Guided Site inspection and tour of premises to be GUARDED shall be conducted on Friday 15th of February 2019.
Site Inspections will take place between 9:00 – 12:00am. Bidders are requested to abide by this date and time.
Tender amount should include VAT.
A comprehensive Tender Document must be collected at the ministerial HQ procurement office at R100.00 per copy from the 18th February to 1st March 2019.
BID LABELING INSTRUCTIONS

Sealed tenders bearing NO identification of the Tenderer, must clearly be labeled as follows: “Security Services for the MTI Headquarters”
- These bids should be sent in Sealed envelopes and be dropped in the Tender Box situated at:

The bids must be submitted to the above address not later than, Friday the 8th March 2019 at 12:00.
Tenders will be opened publicly on the same day (8th March 2019) in the presence of the Tenderers at 14.30 hours, in the MTI Main Boardroom on the 2nd floor. PLEASE NOTE THAT LATE TENDERS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
All potential suppliers are advised to note that suppliers to Lesotho Government are expected to be in compliance with their tax obligations, and attach certified copies of Income Tax and Value Added Tax Clearance Certificates plus valid and relevant Traders’ Licenses. All copies must be certified at source.
The Ministry of Trade & industry reserves the right to reject some or all the tenders and is under NO obligation to select any tender on the basis of price. The Ministry also reserves the right to cancel this tender at any stage during the tender process.
